“Window World Give Back Campaign” Contest Rules
Dates of Contest: October 17th 2011 to November 30th 2011
HOW TO WIN:
Log on to www.myhighplains.com and register. Nominate yourself or someone who deserves free windows for their home.
Winner will be selected randomly by Window World on December 5th 2011 and notified by email and phone.
Window World is responsible for setting up installation in January 2012. (Winner will receive up to 12 standard windows installed). Prize cannot be transferred or exchanged.
PRIZE:
1 Grand Prize Winner will win up to 12 standard windows installed.
(Single-hung, up to 48"W x 72"L or Single-Slide, up to 60"W x 60"L)
ELIGIBILITY AND LIMITATIONS:
Participants and winner(s) must reside within the station's Designated Market Area (DMA)
and must be at least 18 years old. No minors are allowed to participate. Employees of the
station, Nexstar, this contest's participating sponsors and their advertising agencies,
employees of other radio or television stations, and members of the immediate family of any
such persons are not eligible to participate and win. The term "immediate family" includes
spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether as "in-laws" or
by current or past marriage(s), remarriage(s), adoption, co-habitation or other family
extension, and any other persons residing at the same household whether or not related.
PUBLICITY
By participating, all participants and winner(s) grant the station exclusive permission to use
their names, characters, photographs, voices and likenesses in connection with promotion of
this and other contests and waive any claims to royalty, right, or remuneration for such use.
RELEASE
By participating, each participant and winner waives any and all claims of liability against the
station, its employees and agents, for any personal injury or loss, which may occur from the
conduct of, or participation in, the contest, or from the use of any prize.
DECISIONS
We reserve the right to disqualify any participant or winner and may refuse to award any prize
to a person who is ineligible or has violated any rule, gained unfair advantage in participating in
the contest, or obtained winner status using fraudulent means. Station reserves the right to
determine an alternate winner or not to award that winner's prize in its sole discretion. Station
will resolve any disputes or ambiguities concerning the rules and station's decisions
concerning such disputes shall be final.
PRIZE REDEMPTION
Each winner must submit proof of eligibility and sign a release form to claim the prize. All
winners must report to the participating station within three (3) business days to fill out of all
federal and state forms and an affidavit of release. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the
prize. Winners must present a picture ID, preferably a Texas driver’s license, with their full
name, current address and date of birth. The winner must also provide his/her social security
number and home telephone number. It is the sole responsibility of participants to provide us
with a valid and correct mailing address. The winner must appear in person to claim his/her
prize. Relatives, friends, etc. will not be allowed to show verification for the winner. The
management of KAMR TV reserves the right to make exceptions on a case-by-case basis. No
purchase necessary to participate or win. Station may substitute prizes of equivalent value,
amend the rules or discontinue the contest at any time as announced.
