September 30th, 2011 through October 16th, 2011 viewers will register on myhighplains.com "Rock of Love," contest page sponsored by McFarlin's Jewelery. Register by submitting a photo of you and your significant other.
October 17th we will open the voting process through October 26th, 2011. 10 couples with the most votes will be selected as finalists for a kissing contest on November 4th, 2011. The 10 finalist will need to be available on November the 4th starting at 3:00pm for a live kissing contest. At 9:00pm contestants who are still standing and kissing will be submitted to a finalization processes of trivia questions about their significant other until all the participants have been narrowed down to the final winner. The winner will be announced and interviewed for the 10:00pm news on KAMR NBC4 directly following the kissing contest on November 4th, 2011.
Prizes
Grand Prize $5000 credit towards a ring of the winner's choice at McFarlin's Jewelry. No cash value.
Runner Ups will receive a $100 Gift Card to McFarlin's Jewelry. Good towards engagement diamond ring or a diamond band. No cash value. Everyone who registers will be put into a drawing for $100 Gift Card to McFarlin's Jewelry. No cash value.

This contest is for couples who are considering marriage, and couples who are already married.
Please provide us with your engagement or wedding date.
Kissing Contest Rules for November 4th, 2011 Finalist
1. Must be 18 years of age or older to enter.
2. Participants must keep lips pressed together for the duration of the kissing contest. Contestants will be disqualified if contact is broken.
3. No food or bathroom breaks.
4. Qualified contestants left standing at 9:00pm will be submitted to a finalization processes of trivia questions about their significant other until all the participants have been narrowed down to the final winner.
